I Do Cars tore down a failed 70k miles 7.3 gasser. I watched the whole video, but if you don’t want to watch the whole thing, catch the last few minutes starting at 33:50. He’s also noticed a trend in V8 failures. Since he sells engines and parts, I would consider him a reliable source. It would be very interesting to have him on a live stream discussion.
