Long time Toyota owner. No major problems (3 pickup trucks, 2 4Runners, 1 Carolla). Had an intelligence lapse in 2021 and purchased a new 2020 F250 w/ 6.7 Diesel. While out of state at 67K miles the Bosch CP.4 high pressure fuel pump imploded. It sat at Phil Long Ford in COS for over a month and they could not fix it. Toyota took the F-truck on trade while on the lift at Ford for a new Gen 4 Tacoma SR5 4X4 Xtracab (I hate 4 door pickup trucks). So far all is good. Great Tacoma, excellent engine, love the box frame, rear leafs, electronic rack and pinion steering, 6 ft bed.

I hope I don't say that about this Ram 😃. The taco looks nice, I really like camper shells on trucks but this time around I got a Tonneau, sorta wishing I just went with a shell though, much more room/useful.

The new Tacomas, after the initial transmission issues, have been pretty solid. Time will tell how they hold up vs. the old guard.
